This is probably the most classy tourist hub I have seen so far. It's actually more than a tourist hub - its a portal to life in the city of Belfast. You can get information on basically everything you want to know and experience about Belfast - from accommodation, transport, recreation, souvenirs and memorabilia, etc. I was very impressed by the wide variety and selection of souvenirs here - all reminiscent of Northern Ireland and Belfast in particular. Many of them contain allusions to Game of Thrones.
The location is ideal, as it is right in the heart of the city centre. I bought a fridge magnet souvenir, which I really like.
The prices are reasonable, and all the items seem to be of good quality. The store attendants were very polite to me and made me feel welcome in there.
Visiting Belfast and walking through the town was fascinating. My husband and I got to see the city hall and take the black taxi tour with Billy as he explained the history of Belfast. It was a sad to see all the people who loss their life but to see the people there keep the memories alive of the ones who did stand up to injustice was very intriguing and overwhelming to know that these people have to go through so much in their own town. Can't wait to look up the history of it when I get home. If you are a history buff or a traveler this is definitely worth visiting.
Staff lovely , dont have to wait long in the que as there is a fair staff presence. Lots of local products and items. A must for any visitor to Belfast. Especially if your planning a day trip. There is much to offer here. Would be good to see a cafe here or even more sitting space will just put that out there to dry.
Besides staff helping tourists, there is a very good gift shop and a very helpful bus information counter. A good street-map is available, as well as many brochures.
I loved the place. Both night and day time, it has its own beauty. Inside museum is different than other museum. It's interesting and the way the entire journey has been planned to showcase is absolutely brilliant. Few of the myth can be clarified. There is a quiz at the end, must attend that to check your knowledge.
The staff here are really knowledgable, helpful and full of ideas for one and two day itineraries in and around Belfast. The welcome centre also offers left luggage for £4.
This is a great visitor information Centre and gift shop. Prices are reasonable and in some cases, cheaper than some markets in town. Not only can you get nice gifts and books from Belfast. But you can also buy tickets for the buses and trains, and get information on public transport, as well as information on Belfast.
Nice to see how it's developing since the troubles taking a taxi tour is really useful
